The Usual trouble and reason of safety valve
Oct 15, 2019| The first fault is leakage of relief valve.The main reason is (1) the valve core and seat contact surface is not tight;(2) there is dirt in the contact surface between valve core and valve seat;(3) valve stem deflection.
Failure two is the safety valve to the specified pressure does not open.The main reason is (1) the valve core and the valve seat are stuck, manual exhaust test can be done to eliminate;(2) the spring adjustment pressure of the spring safety valve is too large, should be re-adjusted;(3) if the weight of the lever safety valve moves backwards, the weight should be moved to the original position of fixed pressure and fastened with the limited screw.
Fault three is the safety valve does not specify the pressure when open.The main reason is (1) the spring adjustment pressure of the spring safety valve is not enough, spring failure or insufficient elasticity, should re-adjust or re-change the safety valve;(2) the weight hammer of the lever safety valve shall move forward, and the weight hammer shall be moved to the original position of fixed pressure and fastened with the limited screw.
