1. Scope: This instruction is applicable to electric (or pneumatic) ball valves at the flange connection end. 2. Composition: It is composed of an electric (or pneumatic) actuator and a ball valve body, which are connected by a bracket and a connecting shaft. 3. Use limitations Temperature and pressure limitations l The nameplate shows the maximum operating pressure allowed by the ball valve at the maximum and minimum operating temperatures. l Use valve seats and seals made of PTFE or RTFE, and the operating temperature should be between -290C and 2000C. The operating temperatures of other types of valve seats and seals should be checked by the KI factory. l The nominal pressure rating (PN) of the valve indicates the maximum working pressure of the valve under normal temperature conditions. (For example: PN4.0, indicating that its maximum working pressure is 40 Bar (4.0MPa) when the operating temperature is -290C~380C). l For precautions on electric or pneumatic actuators, please refer to their corresponding instructions. 4. Installation 1). Remove the protective covers on both sides of the flange end and rinse and clean with the valve fully open. 2) Before installation, the whole machine should be tested according to the specified signal (electrical or gas) (to prevent vibration caused by transportation from affecting the performance). Only after it is qualified can it be installed online (wiring should be according to the electric actuator circuit diagram). 3) Before preparing to connect to the pipeline, the remaining impurities in the pipeline must be flushed and removed (these substances may damage the valve seat and ball). 4) During installation, please do not use the actuator part of the valve as a lifting point to avoid damage to the actuator and accessories. . 5) This type of valve should be installed in the horizontal or vertical direction of the pipeline. 6) Pipes near the installation point must not sag or bear external force. Pipe brackets or supports can be used to eliminate pipeline deviation. 7) After connecting to the pipeline, please cross-tighten the flange connecting bolts with the specified torque. 4. Operation and use 1) Make sure that the pipelines and valves have been flushed before operation. 2) The operation of the valve is driven by the input signal of the actuator to complete the rotation of the valve stem: when it rotates 1/4 turn (900) in the forward direction, the valve is closed. When rotated 1/4 turn (900) in the opposite direction, the valve opens. 3) When the actuator direction indicator arrow is parallel to the pipeline, the valve is in the open state; when the indicator arrow is perpendicular to the pipeline, the valve is in the closed state. 5. Maintenance Having a long service life and maintenance-free period will depend on the following factors: normal working conditions, maintaining a harmonious temperature/pressure ratio, and reasonable corrosion numbers.
