After more than 20 years of development, there are more than 6,000 various types of exhaust valve enterprises in China, and the number of enterprises ranks first in the world, of which 900 have an annual output value of more than 5 million yuan.

From the product situation, China's exhaust valve industry has been able to produce more than a dozen major categories of products, such as gate valves, globe valves, ball valves, butterfly valves, safety valves, check valves, throttle valves, plug valves, pressure reducing valves, diaphragms. Valves, traps, emergency shut-off valves, etc., the maximum operating temperature reaches 570 ° C, the lowest is -196 ° C, the highest pressure is 600 MPa, the maximum diameter reaches 5350 mm.

In addition, according to the statistics of relevant departments, the annual turnover of the exhaust valve market in China is as high as 50 billion yuan, of which the market of more than 10 billion yuan is occupied by foreign exhaust valve enterprises. Although China's exhaust valve industry has made great progress through reform and opening up, there are still some problems: due to the low level of repeated construction, the leading products of exhaust valve enterprises are still dominated by low-end mass products.

In addition, at present, various exhaust valves produced by Chinese enterprises generally have shortcomings such as leakage, internal leakage, low appearance quality, short life, inflexible operation, and unreliable exhaust valve electric devices and pneumatic devices. The product is only equivalent to the international level of the early 1980s. Some high temperature and high pressure and exhaust valves required on critical equipment still rely on imports. In addition, China's exhaust valve industry in the industrial structure, the industrial chain of the exhaust valve industry, as well as the degree of specialization of the industry, there is a big gap compared with foreign countries.

Experts in the industry analyzed that the main reason for the low quality of domestic exhaust valve products is that after the rapid expansion of the market, the original state-owned exhaust valve enterprises have been shut down and transferred, and private enterprises have developed rapidly. The starting point of private enterprises is low, the technical strength is very weak, the equipment is simple, and most of the products are imitative production, especially the low-pressure exhaust valves for water supply and drainage. The problems are even more serious.
