What Is The Function Of The Breathing Valve
Jun 21, 2024| What is the function of the breathing valve?
Breathing valve in the normal state is only to ensure that the tank is safely closed, to minimise the evaporation loss of the medium in the tank. Only in the following non-normal state breathing valve will begin to work:
1. When the storage tank for media receiving and dispatching operations, changes in the volume of gas in the tank caused by changes in gas pressure, the breathing valve that is the beginning of a larger flow breathing;
2. Due to external environmental influences, changes in the temperature of the gas inside the tank, caused by the tank medium vapour pressure increases or decreases (commonly known as the thermal effect), the breathing valve began to breathe a small flow;
3. sudden change of weather or fire and other circumstances, the temperature inside the tank within a short period of time to change rapidly, causing the gas pressure inside the tank to rise or fall sharply, resulting in breathing valve large flow breathing. Breathing valve in a variety of working conditions should meet the tank breathing the required ventilation, so as to ensure the safety of the tank.
Breathing valve is a widely used in the top of the tank ventilation device, used to maintain the balance of air pressure inside and outside the tank. It prevents the tank from deflating and buckling due to the vacuum and pressure exceeding the permissible value (negative pressure and overpressure) by controlling the exhalation pressure and vacuum of the tank, and at the same time reduces the evaporation loss of the medium inside the tank to a certain extent due to the control of the pressure.
