The installation pipe layout of vacuum safety valve is selected as follows:

1. The vacuum safety valve should be installed upright and close to the protected equipment or pipeline. If it cannot be arranged in close proximity, the total pressure drop of the pipe from the protected equipment or pipe to the inlet of the vacuum safety valve should not exceed 3% of the constant pressure value of the safety valve.

2. Maintenance platform should be set up for vacuum safety valve. When arranging a large weight safety valve, the possibility of lifting after removing the safety valve should be considered, and a boom should be set up if necessary.

3. The inlet pipe of the vacuum safety valve should adopt a long radius elbow.

4. The outlet pipe design of vacuum safety valve should consider that the back pressure does not exceed a certain value of the fixed pressure of the safety valve. For ordinary spring type safety valves, the back pressure does not exceed 10% of the fixed pressure value of the safety valve.

5. When the medium discharged into the blow-off main or to the flare main has condensate or condensable gas, the outlet of the vacuum safety valve should be higher than the main pipe, otherwise, drainage measures should be taken.
