Introduction of  filter  

Filter is an indispensable device in the pipeline of conveying medium. It is usually installed at the inlet of pressure reducing valve, pressure relief valve, constant water level valve or other equipment to eliminate impurities in the medium, so as to protect the normal use of valves and equipment.  

Filter selection principle  

1. Inlet and outlet diameter: in principle, the inlet and outlet diameter of the filter should not be less than the inlet diameter of the matching pump, generally consistent with the inlet pipe diameter.  

2. Nominal pressure: the pressure level of the filter is determined according to the highest possible pressure of the filter pipeline.  

3. the selection of hole mesh: mainly consider the diameter of impurities to intercept, according to the process requirements of the medium.  Various specifications of screen can intercept the particle size of the following table "filter specifications".  

4. Filter material: The material of the filter is generally the same as the process pipe material connected. For different service conditions, cast iron filter, carbon steel filter, low alloy steel or stainless steel filter can be considered.
